Our favorite show on MeTv!! we fall off our chairs laughing so hard. I even spit out my food a couple times - like when Arnold fell in love with Mr. Haneys hound dog and they were talking to each other. How could any of the actors keep a straight face long enough to film????? 🤣😆

Great video. I was there in 2003 from England and I pulled up in the car park and noticed instantly it was from the lost boys. Where that low life thief was! The best random stop I ever did! I just wish I had a digital camera in them days but I took a few pictures with the old type cameras. I went on the wooden roller coaster and I even took a picture of me pretending to be hanging from the bridge thinking it was the one :) I just wish I could go back there now and to see everything you showed in your video or to even live there. The stairs where the motorbikes go down, has the sand risen that much over the years?

It has been well documented that Hitchcock took inspiration from a painting by Edward Hooper called House By The Railroad. Maybe the hotel gave him an idea to place the house on a hill. They did not fully use existing sets off the backlot for the house. The tower and the right side where taken from the harvey house according to the blueprints from 1959. They matched the left side using stock that matched the harvey house and the porch roof and sides were all constructed for the production which until Invitation To A Gunfight they added another side so it could be used and painted it in a tan color and it sat on Laramie St next to Singapore lake till 1980 when PSYCHO II went into production and they knew it had to be moved since it was impossible to shoot the film when Universal had the house as part of the backlot tour, move to a isolated area of the backlot next to Falls Lake. Which was the swamp location used in 1960.

The lot where Andy Griffith was filmed was the same place where the Tara mansion (Gone with the wind) was and behind it was the Hogsns Heroes lot.

We can't live in willful disobedience to God's word and expect to make it to heaven. God said be holy for I am holy. Do you know of areas in your life where you continue to sin? (That is... Lying, Unwholesome talk, drunkenness, fornication, sexual immorality, homosexuality, cheating, stealing, dishonesty, idolatry, greed, lust, pornography, etc. ) you don't have to be living right to give your life to the Lord Jesus Christ. when you give your life to the Lord Jesus Christ he will lead you, guide you and correct you and help you to live right. We're living in the end days so Being right with the Lord is the most important thing you can do.

You seem to do a lot of stuff in California. I lived in the Bay Area for 30 years (1990-2020) then moved to Auburn in the foothills. Love seeing California locations…

How am I just now finding out that you're the same guy that helped randy with his "burning memories" music video? 💀😭

Ha! As my husband and I were on that path and cliff (in the beginning of this clip), we were getting married--just us, a Justice of the Peace, and a passing jogger who became our witness (we didn't know we needed one). We kept running into the Turner and Hooch filming crew. First in town, we saw Tom Hanks and Hooch. Then, passing us, again and again, as we were getting married. Because the jogger was also our photographer (he took photos of our feet), I have more, and better, photos of Hooch.

I have one for you. My grandfather lived in Edendale as a kid and rode a horse to school. Edendale is now Silver Lake/Echo Park. Harold E. MacKenzie (I'll call him Papa from now on) worked as an extra in silent Westerns in movies put together at Mack Sennett Studios. Tom Mix was one of the stars of the era. I wonder what is left of the studio.

After 2 videos I'm still not convinced you have the correct location. I'm waiting for video 3.

I have an interesting connection with Green Acres. I grew up in El Paso, Texas, and my parents had a couple who were friends of theirs who owned a little Christian bookstore. They were friends with Tom Lester, who played the hired hand, Eb, on the sitcom. He came for a visit and, because they were busy, they asked if I could hang around with him for the day. I was all of 12 or 13 years old at the time! Anyway, I spent the day with Tom and found him to be a very kind, warm and down-to-earth guy. I mean, he was willing to hang around all day with a kid, right? It's a day I'll never forget.

... 62 years ago on March 1st ... I started a career as a child singer and background performer to keep my SAG membership active ... and as a 5 year old ... on the back lot of Warner Bros ... I count many dozens of very famous ladies as my "grandmas" and my "aunties" ... But alas except for a couple ... they are all no longer with us
